How are the student's grades determined?
It is ultimately up to the facilitating teacher at the high school. All the online tests and assignments are scored by the online classroom instructors. Tests are on a 100 point scale and assignments are scored on a 10 point scale determined on if the assignment is correct and meets all the requirements. All tests must be passed and assignments completed successfully before students can move forward. This ensures the student in comprehension of topics covered before moving forward. The onsite teacher decides how to weigh the tests and assignments to come up with the final grade that goes on their record.
